I’m a cinematographer based in Helsinki, Finland. My work ranges from fiction and documentary films to music videos and experimental art projects.
Some of my recent work includes Just Animals (2022), a feature documentary about the animal rights movement in Finland, and Melting Dreams (2022), a feature documentary about skiing Afghan women, as well as the experimental short film Reflection (2023), and the short narrative Summer of Bees (2021).
I strive to work on projects which explore the nuances of the human (and non-human) condition and the complexity of this world, regardless of the genre or the scope of the production. I get excited about new ways of seeing and experiencing the world. I emphasise the process of developing a unique visual language for each project on its own terms, and I value the collaborative nature of filmmaking.
